By the solicitation of a few friends here, I came to this place. One expressed his determination to have a place with the people of God. Seven united in signing the covenant. Systematic Benevolence was pledged, amounting to about twenty dollars. They were encouraged to endeavor to rise with the message. L. R. LONG. April 20, 1874.
