No Man Ascended to Heaven.

How do you harmonize John 3 : 13 with 2 Kings 2 : 2, and Heb. 11 : 5?         R. S. Kellogg.
ANSWER: We understand that Christ in John 3 : 13, is speaking of those who are qualified to give instruction respecting heavenly things. No man of himself can do it; for no man has ascended to Heaven and come back to tell us of that place. In this sense the passage has no reference to such cases as Enoch and Elijah, who were translated for another purpose. But Christ is qualified to teach us of heavenly things; for he came down from Heaven, and in respect to his knowledge of the place, was, at the time he spoke, the same as if in Heaven.         T. S.
