Sabbath Memorial No. 3

☞ We have received No. 3 of the Sabbath Memorial, the quarterly issued in the interest of the true Sabbath by Eld. W. M. Jones, of London, Eng. It contains an interesting table giving the names of the days of the week in Hebrew, Arabic, Persian, Turkish, Amharic, Modern Greek, Russian, Polish, Falasha, Bengali and Hindustani, Malay, German, Norman French of the 10th and 11th centuries, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Ecclesiastical, and Parliamentary. In all these tongues, the days of the week are reckoned as we reckon them, and the last or seventh day of the week is termed the Sabbath. U. S.
