We frequently receive letters from church clerks asking us to publish notices to the absent members of their churches to attend such a meeting or report at such a time, etc. But experience has shown that it is impossible to reach such persons through the REVIEW, for in ninety-nine cases out of a hundred, persons who go off and do not keep their church informed of their whereabouts are altogether too careless and have too little interest to take the REVIEW. If the clerk knows their address, the proper way is for him to address them by letter.
