Cholera Expected in 1883

—Cholera of a violent type has already made its appearance at Allahabad, Hindostan, where the pilgrims usually gather; and it is at this sacred spot that the plague usually starts in its periodical marches around the world. We may expect it in the United States in 1883, according to the seventeen-year theory.—Inter-Ocean.
