MT. PLEASANT, IOWA.

Our tent has been up several weeks and we have now canvassed, to a certain extent, most of the leading positions of our faith. Much of the time the extreme wet weather has been against us, so that our congregations have been confined to the city. Our audiences have ranged from two hundred to four hundred a great deal of the time, but are now somewhat smaller. We have, however, had a good hearing considering the pride of the place, and the strong, silent under-current of the popular churches against us. Scarcely anything is said in public against our work, but if there was it would be much easier to meet than the silent influence working secretly.
We have quite a number of interested hearers, and we hope for good results. We have not yet reached the point of decision with many, but we are near it, and greatly desire the prayers of God's people, that souls may make a right decision.
