Closed our meeting in Frazeysburg, Tuesday evening, July 25, with a very fair congregation. There are some precious souls here whom we believe will be saved when Jesus comes. From twelve to fourteen, as near as we could learn, have decided to keep the Sabbath. There are many persons in this village and vicinity that cannot read, and as a consequence they learned the truth slowly, and were more disposed to be influenced by their former teachers. We gave the people to understand that we were ready to receive any pecuniary assistance they felt disposed to give us, and on the morning of our departure we were thankful to receive $22, a contribution from the people. We feel quite certain that a little labor bestowed on Frazeysburg soon would not be lost. We shipped our tent immediately to Norwalk, pitched, and began meetings Friday night about two miles from the city and about one mile from the camp ground. The Attendance and attention quite good up to this writing, and we hope and pray for some success. H. A. St. John. Norwalk, O., August 4, 1876
