MAINE

By J. B. Goodrich

July 15, 16, I met with the church at Woodstock, Me. Here I met Bro. C. A. Washburn, and was very thankful for the timely assistance which he rendered in the meetings. Some things in this church have stood in the way of the work. These things were talked over, and after some confessions had been made, all voted to take hold in union, and work for the salvation of souls. At the close of our meeting Sunday evening some requested prayers, and we all felt encouraged.
July 18. I spoke at Pin Hook. July 22, 23, I met with the church at Jay. Two were baptized, and two united with the church.
