LINNEUS, AROOSTOOK CO., ME.

By J. B. Goodrich

On returning to this place, I find those that came out to obey the truth still firm. None have given up, and I rejoice to see some progress in the right direction. I hope to see the work of reform go forward, until all shall see the importance of leaving off the use of those things which are injurious.

Truly I feel that the Lord has raised up some good souls to be witnesses for his truth here, and I hope to see still others become interested, and take hold to obey his commands. The roads have been very bad, but are now improving. Some are just beginning to work their farms. It is very cold and backward here this spring.
