Noah's Sacrifice in His Work.

It is evident that the building of the ark was a work of immense expense. Noah must have been a man of great wealth; and he must have had a great heart for the work. His property was devoted to the accomplishment of the undertaking. When the ark was completed, his property was invested in it. To the people of the old world this was the hight of folly; yet the event proved it to be the work of the highest wisdom. Noah and his family were borne in safety over the waters of the flood; while all others miserably perished. So will it be found in these days. God's cause calls for sacrifice. Those who cheerfully make it, will stand accepted before him, while those who refuse, will be found wanting.
