The Coming King

By J. E. WHITE.
Sixteen editions. More than 130,000 books, and another 10,000 edition on the press; also paper ordered for still another 10,000 edition; making a grand total of 150,000 books in all.
The cloth used in binding would carpet 2½ acres. The printed surface of the paper used in these books would make a carpet sufficiently large to cover a farm of 367 acres. Were the books piled one on top of another, they would make a stack 2 5-16 miles high. Were they laid end to end, they would make a path six inches wide, and more than 19½ miles long.
In this volume Christ is set forth as the great central figure in the plan of salvation, the Creator, Redeemer, the Leader of Israel, the Great Teacher, the Man of Sorrows, the Mediator, our Elder Brother, the One through whom the Father has revealed the beauty of his character and the depth of his love, in the gift of his only begotten Son for a sinful race.
The author gives special attention to the fulfillment of the Saviour’s prophecy brought to view in Matthew twenty-four, the persecution of the church, the darkening of the sun, the falling of the stars, famines, earthquakes, and tidal waves. Also in the book is considered the present perplexing problems of the day, such as—
The Massing of Wealth, Labor Troubles, Distress of Nations, The Money Question, Capital and Labor, and the Coming Conflict.
The book is clearly and forcibly written, and is designed to awaken an interest and to inspire confidence in the Word of God.
It contains 290 pages, 39 chapters, 180 illustrations. It is printed on supercalendered paper, published in four languages—English, German, Danish, and Swedish. This book in the foreign languages is printed in one color only. Bound in two styles of binding, beautiful cover design. Price, souvenir binding, gilt top and title, $1.50; cloth, plain edges, $1. Sold by subscription only. Agents wanted. The profits on this work are used for promoting missionary work in the Southern field.
