DANVERS.—Elder Stone writes: “The frame of our house of worship is up, and the work goes bravely on. Last Sunday another minister three miles out, spoke against the Sabbath, and the Methodist minister here preached against us on the sleep of the dead. These I reviewed at our hall. The friends are more firmly settled in the truth at every move. Elder Robinson has been with us, and helped during the past week, and Elder Canright returned yesterday, October 3.”
