Commenced meetings here September 25. Four lectures have been given to date. The attendance has ranged from fifty-five to eighty. Books are taken quite readily, and the people seem to be interested. They are hospitable, and we have more invitations to visit than we can conveniently attend. This town has a good share of churches. The Baptist college is located here. We meet on the Sabbath with the Dixon church. B. A. STEPHENS.
