Change of Address.

WHEN ordering papers changed from one address to another, the business cannot be done unless two points are mentioned in the letter. 1st. The post-office address where you have been receiving the paper, and 2nd, the post-office address to which you want the paper changed.
It is not sufficient to say, “Please send my paper to Spencer, Clark Co., Wis.,” and then simply sign your name. All we can tell by this is that you are receiving the SIGNS somewhere, and that you want it changed to Spencer, Wis.
Now there are more than 8000 names on our list. If we were to look all of them over to find this name it would take one hour. We receive as many as a dozen letters of this kind each week. With such letters, just one of these three things can be done: Search the list all through until you find them; write to them and find out all about it; or throw the letters in the waste basket.
