Lafayette, Cal.

By John Norton Loughborough

Sabbath and first-day, April 28 and 29, in company with Bro. Stephens, I held six meetings at Lafayette. We found fourteen keeping the Sabbath, as the result of Bro. Stephens’ labors there last winter. These, with some outside hearers, listened with good attention to the word spoken. In a business meeting held on Sunday morning, pledges were made on S. B. to the amount of $53.00 per year. This will doubtless be increased by some who were not at the meeting. J. N. Loughborough.
