Words to Patrons.

By James White

THE interest in the Biblical Lectures given in Oakland by Elder Smith was such that it seemed necessary to omit one number of the SIGNS in order to accommodate editors and printers who were anxious to attend. For the same reason the press-work of last week's issue was crowded into the night, and executed very badly.
The paper will be printed weekly for the future, and no pains will be spared to have all departments of the work done in a manner worthy of the liberal patronage it receives from its numerous friends. J. W.
