Biblical Institute.

In the SIGNS for Jan. 11, 1877, we suggested that a Biblical Institute could be held by Elder Smith of Michigan, at Oakland or some other place in California, during the month of April. Several have responded favorably, stating that they would attend. We here give more definite statements:
1. It is decided that March 20 would be the best time to commence.
2. The Biblical School would probably hold about four weeks.
3. Two or three lectures would be given each day.
4. All questions upon a given lecture to the point, presented in writing at the close of each lecture, will be answered during a given time just before the next lecture commences.
5. No tuition whatever is required of students.
6. The Oakland church will open their new house of worship, and beside bearing the incidental expenses arising from the meetings, they do not see how they can do more than board those whom they may invite to their homes by letter.
7. This will be a season of thorough training on theoretical and practical subjects, besides the spiritual benefit which is ardently hoped will attend such a gathering.
