Addition, Subtraction, and Multiplication

ADDITION.—Add to your faith, virtue; and to virtue, knowledge; and to knowledge, temperance; and to temperance, patience; and to patience, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, charity. 2 Pet. 1:5–7.
Subtraction.—Laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, . . . desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. 1 Pet. 2: 1, 2.
Multiplication.—Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God.
