NINE MILES.—In order to reach this place Bro. Orlando Soule states that he was obliged to walk over fifty miles, after which he was glad to find a friendly shelter at the home of a Sabbath-keeper, just at close of day. Up to the time of reporting he had held nine meetings with them, baptized one, and organized a church of five. Having obtained the use of the Methodist church, he now expects to give a course of lectures in that place, and asks the prayers of the brethren.
