COMMENCED lecturing in La Fayette, Oct. 20, in company with Bro. Morrison. Forty-three lectures in all were given, Bro. Morrison giving four of them before he left. Fourteen signed the covenant, and several more are still undecided.
Bro. Morton joined me Nov. 30, and by invitation of the citizens of Walnut Creek, three and a half miles distant from La Fayette, we began a course of lectures there Dec. 5. Our average attendance has been fifty. The interest to hear is good, and I hope for some to obey the truth. Brethren, do not forget to pray for the work here.
