AFTER giving twenty-five discourses in Elmira with some fruit, I followed up the work, as God seemed to open the way, by preaching in this place. The work here has required patience and earnest labor, but seems to be in much more favorable condition now than at any previous time. Those who have taken their stand are persons of influence and will help us much in our further labors.
