Ship Work.

In entering upon the work of paper distribution on ships in San Francisco harbor, our people find an excellent field. They found 73 ships lying at anchor, waiting for lading, bound for all parts of the earth. District No. 7, Oakland church, has already furnished over 800 papers which have been placed upon 21 ships. Two persons in San Francisco have volunteered to place these papers on the ships. They can visit each Sunday from nine to fifteen ships.
These ship visitors handed me this slip last evening: “The nine ships visited last Sunday morning were bound to the four quarters of the globe. Some to Manila; Valparaiso, Chili; Honolulu, Sandwich Islands; Guatemala, Central America; Cork, Ireland; and Liverpool, England. The copies of the Signs were received with thanks on all of these ships.”
Who wishes a part in this good work? Let any such write me, and send their remittance to Oakland, Cal. Let the truth find its way through all these channels to all parts of the earth. J. N. Loughborough.
