THE PUBLISHING ASSOCIATION.

The seventeenth annual session of the S. D. A. Publishing Association was also held on the Lansing Camp-ground. The Treasurer's report shows the assets of the Association, after all debts are paid, to be $96,719.59, which is an increase over last year's report of $2,567.10. Before the ballot for officers was cast, Elder White stated that he had just received a telegram from W. C. White encouraging his return to the Pacific Coast, and that he had decided to go; therefore he wished to be excused from all offices and responsibilities in the Battle Creek Association. The ballot was then cast, which resulted in the unanimous election of the following officers: President, Elder James White; Vice-President, S. N. Haskell; Secretary, Mrs. M. J. Chapman; Treasurer, James Sawyer; Auditor, C. W. Stone; Committee on Publishing, James White, U. Smith, J. H. Kellogg.
