The Press in Europe.

JAMES WHITE......................... $1,000 John Morrison........................ 1,000
Ten thousand dollars wanted to establish the Seventh-day Adventist press in Basel, Switzerland, to be paid in monthly installments of $1,000 for each of the remaining months of 1876, beginning with April and closing in December with $2,000. Just eight more $1,000-men are wanted to fill the bill for presses and printing material generally.
Then there will be a chance for the $100-men to come in with their free-will offerings to support periodicals in French and German, and print tracts to circulate all through Europe. We can ask our brethren in Europe to do no more at present than to support the worthy missionaries and laborers in their midst.
We shall forward $1,000 to Elder Andrews in April, in full faith that eight more $1,000-men will join us in this worthy enterprise.
Friends in Europe are comparatively few. So they were in America until we set the people to reading. The books, pamphlets, and tracts are written. It is now the work to translate and print. And the money is coming to meet the expenses. JAMES WHITE.
