ALL will admit that we ought to love God with all our heart, and Jesus who came to seek and to save that which was lost. This love is not natural to the carnal, depraved heart. It must be cultivated, or it will not grow. We must make it a habit to dwell upon the matchless love of the Saviour. My brother, my sister, do you wish to cultivate this love? As a help I recommend to you to read the book with the above title. The life of Christ is written in the gospels; yet but few, if any, have penetrated the depths of it. If you want deeper, and more enlarged views of the great plan and work of the gospel of salvation, this work will aid you. In it you will find many gems and pearls which you have not heretofore dived deep enough to reach. May God bless this volume, and its predecessor, to the salvation of many souls. And let me entreat the reader of these lines not to lose the benefit to be gained by a careful and prayerful perusal. R. F. C.
