DIED, at Seattle, Washington Territory, March 12, of small-pox, Richard Forbes, about 30 years of age. Richard was a worthy member of the S. D. A. church in Woodland, Cal., from which place he removed to Washington Territory some three years since.
He suffered much during his sickness, but retained his senses to the last. His mother writes that the last scripture which he read was the 21st and 22d chapters of Revelation, upon which he dwelt to considerable length. When he comes forth from the grave to enjoy the glories of the country described in these chapters, may we all be ready to meet him and to dwell forever in that land where “there shall be no more death.”
