Removal of the Publishing Work

Nearly three years have passed since the stockholders of the Seventh-day Adventist Publishing Association at a meeting held in Battle Creek, Mich., on Wednesday, April 29, 1903, adopted resolutions providing for the removal of the publishing work to some location in the East, and the final step in the removal is now being taken. The transfer of the personal property was begun last week by sending forward from Battle Creek two cars loaded with signatures and paper stock. Other shipments will follow in due course until the whole plant has been removed to Washington. In the meantime the building at Takoma Park will be made ready, and the machinery will be installed as soon as it is received.
