My Song

By W. S. Cruzan

W. S. CRUZAN

I WILL sing His saving power,— That power which frees from sin, And which protects me every hour, And gives me joy within.

A song of praise is justly due His great and glorious name; O then with songs my heart imbue, To sing thy mighty fame!

Let my inmost powers combine In lays of heavenly strains, And then with heart and soul and mind, Rejoice in pure refrains.

Then sing, ye saints, and glorify His name in tuneful lays; Then shall my tongue with yours supply A feeble gift of praise,

Semmes, Ala.
