WARNING TO SMOKERS.—

One of our exchanges expresses the opinion that the death of the Rev. Mr. Hallock, in the recent accident on the Erie Railroad, was a manifestation of the divine displeasure against the habit of smoking! If the reverend gentleman had not been sitting in the smoking car he would not have been killed; if he had not been a smoker he would not have been in the smoking car; hence he was killed because he was a smoker.—Sel.
