Announcement of Union College
SEPT. 30, 1903, Union College will enter upon the thirteenth year of its existence. Work is offered in normal lines, business training, Bible study, and the various branches found in our advanced schools. Modern language forms an important part of the work of Union College, departments being conducted in the English, German, Swedish, and Danish-Norwegian. An excellent opportunity for instruction in Spanish is also afforded. Training will be given in various missionary lines, and a special course will be conducted during the winter term for the benefit of those who can spare but a few weeks from field work. Arrangements have been made with the publishing association recently organized at College View by which an especially favorable opportunity will be given those who desire to prepare themselves for usefulness in the printing work. Those planning to come should arrange to bring their own bedding, towels, etc. A list of necessary articles will be found in the calendar for 1903-1904. Students arriving in Lincoln may take any street car from the depot, and, by asking the conductor for a transfer to the College View line, can reach the college for five cents. Trunk checks should be retained, unless the Union College man is at the depot. Further information can be obtained by writing the president, L. A. Hoopes, College View, Neb.
