An Opportunity to Help
By J. W. Bartlett
In March, 1891, I came to Lapwai, Idaho, to labor among the Nez Perces Indians. The work has moved slowly, partly because I supported myself, and was somewhat in debt when I came here. Some have accepted the truth, including health reform, tithes and offerings. Some sleep in Jesus, whom I hope to meet in the morning of the resurrection. Others are interested, so I am of good cheer. At the camp-meeting in May, held at Pendleton, Ore., a resolution was adopted to raise a fund by subscription to educate one or more Indians at our W. W. College, and Brother C. C. Lewis will gladly receive money sent him for that purpose, giving receipt for the same. I will gladly answer any questions in regard to this important work. Brethren, help in this work with your means and also with your prayers.
