RAROTONGA.—The work is moving along nicely here. Our school is opening up again, after six weeks’ vacation, and the prospects for a prosperous year are bright. The weather is very hot at present, and in consequence I am not feeling at all strong. I have lost flesh continually the past year, and at present I weigh but one hundred and seventeen pounds, whereas at one time my weight was one hundred and sixty-two pounds. However, the work is the Lord’s, and he has a care for his own.
I am greatly encouraged by reading of so many laborers volunteering for the dark places of the earth. May God greatly bless them. A. H. PIPER.
