O GRACIOUS Father, guide my feet Around the stones which yesterday Lay in my path — those stones o’er which I stumbled. For, perchance, to-day, Should my path lead that same way, I could but fall. When left alone, No strength have I by which to turn My steps aside. I’ve weaker grown Since yesterday. But if Thou lead, I cannot fall. Those stones so wide, But signal that it’s time to press Still closer to my matchless Guide.
