A Little Mourner Comforted

BY E. D. THOMAS
Not long ago, one of our evangelists died of cholera. He left a wife and three children to mourn his loss. When we returned from the funeral service, Dason, his little boy, who was but seven years of age, came running to me, and said: “Sir, my sister is crying because my father is dead and buried; but you preached to us from the Bible, a few days ago, that the dead in Christ are resting for a time, and will be resurrected when our Saviour comes. Then I can see him, and will be with him.”
And moreover, we know and preach to the people that Christ will come very soon. Then Dason said, “Won’t you comfort my sister with these words?”
“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength.”
