Self Fades in Christ’s Light

In the early morning, a long and great shadow is cast of ourselves; but as the glory of the day wears on, the shorter grows our shadow, until at noontime the shadows sink into our shoes. So as the light of Christ’s glory comes into our experience, the self shadow sinks out of sight. J. E. F.
