THERE is really no ground for a difference of opinion or practice in reference to the observance of the Sabbath. The Lord has said that “the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God.” This settles the question. The seventh day is either the Sabbath, or it is not. The Lord, who made the Sabbath, tells us which day it is—it is the seventh day of the weekly cycle. Nowhere in His holy book has He ever changed or altered these words. They stand fast forever, and if believed, will settle forever which day is the day to be observed as the Sabbath.
