ENTHUSIASM is a commanding factor in every great accomplishment. The enthusiast looks ahead only to see great possibilities. He is also persistent in adventure, and nothing but death restrains his efforts. He never thinks in circumscribed limits, because, in the very nature of things, he knows that limitation of thought means limitation of accomplishment. In spiritual pursuits, enthusiasm is necessary in order to be an ardent follower in the path of childlike faith, such as takes God at His word, and believes that nothing is impossible with Him. This mental fervor is the highway to ultimate spiritual success; because as a man “thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
