Has the Earth Passed Away?

IF the earth has passed away, if the world has already come to an end, if we only imagine that we are alive, then, and only then, can it be possible that God's law has been done away. But if we are correct in our belief that the world still exists, then we need not worry about God's law; for God's Son, through whom all things were created, emphatically stated that not one iota of the law would pass away till heaven and earth would pass away.

A person could not state the matter much stronger. If not one iota nor title could pass from the law, it seems strange that the fourth commandment could pass away in spite of the Saviour's specific statement and warning to the contrary.
