The Mistake They Will Make

THE mistake many will make in the Sabbath question is expressed in the following text: “Her priests have violated [“offered violence to,” margin] My law, and have profaned Mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.” Eze. 22: 26.
God would have His priests and ministers respect His commands and His Sabbath. Speaking of the attitude that the priestsshould sustain to the law, He says: “They shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. And in controversy they shall stand in judgment ; and they shall judge it according to My judgments: and they shall keep My laws and My statutes in all Mine assemblies; and they shall hallow My Sabbaths.” Eze. 44: 23, 24.
