Old and Deaf, but a Happy Experience

We are thankful that the Lord has kept us well during the hot summer months, and now we are quite anxious to begin the fall work. The message is onward here in Chang-Sha, Hunan. The evangelists and canvassers are doing well, and some of the lay members are also doing good work. One of our faithful church-members, old and deaf, has interested three men in the gospel, and last Sabbath he brought them to the service. It would be difficult to describe the happiness of this man, that he, old and deaf, should be instrumental in leading others to a knowledge of the Saviour. C. P. LILLIE.
