In the Sunshine of His Presence

By MRS. CARRIE K. BUTCHER
There is grandeur in the service Of our blessed, loving Lord. How my soul delights to honor, Praise, and magnify His word! Tell, O, tell me, ye who murmur At the roughness of the way, Have you tested His salvation As a keeping power each day?
There is gladness in the bosom Of God's truly trusting child; And mid storm or gloom or sunshine, Still he's patient, meek, and mild. Finding peaceful, restful pleasures In each daily round of care, Knowing that God weighs and measures Every burden he must bear.
There is sunshine in the presence Of our blessed King of kings; And the heart that truly loves Him, Of His matchless goodness sings. Tell, O, tell me, brother pilgrim, Have you found this blessed way? Are you dwelling in the sunshine Of His presence day by day?
