The Western Watchman (Catholic) of January 14, 1915, says that “the administration is very thankful to us” for the Watchman’s attitude on the Mexican questions. The editorial closes with “He [Mr. Wilson] will find Catholics all friends and disposed to support his administration, and the talk of Catholic hostility foolish.”
