Jews in Jerusalem

It is estimated by Dr. Hertz, a Jew, that 1,000,000 Jews have left Russia for Anglo-Saxon lands, and not a few Jews from Russia and other lands have gone to Palestine. The city of Jerusalem is said to have a population ranging from 95,000 to 110,000. Of these, 12,000 are Mahommedans, 13,000 are nominal Christians, and about 70,000 are Jews. Some are looking upon this as the fulfillment of various prophecies. Many will be disappointed.
