The “Morning Watch” Calendar
The observance of the “Morning Watch” is adding thousands of persons, young and old, in systematic, personal Bible study and prayer. Six years ago the Young People’s Missionary Volunteer Department of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists issued their first Morning Watch Calendar. Of that first edition six thousand copies were sold. A new calendar has been published yearly since, each succeeding one having a wider circulation and influence. This year thirty-three thousand copies have been circulated in the English, besides editions in the German, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese languages. The Morning Watch Calendar for 1914, now ready, outlines an interesting year’s exercise in the study of the New Testament. It gives a schedule for each month, which includes suggestive, short Scripture readings. There are also several pages of rich gems of thought on the study of the Word, together with blanks for records of personal missionary work, and a sunset map. This little book will certainly prove a most helpful and inspiring daily companion. It costs but five cents, and may be ordered of your tract society. PACIFIC PRESS PUBLISHING ASSOCIATION
