A Difference for All Eternity

HOW true and yet how little appreciated are the words of James Freeman Clark, “It may make a difference through all eternity whether I do right or wrong to-day”!
Something little in man’s estimation, may turn the scales of God’s judgment in favor of or against even a professed Christian. In God’s view, however, nothing is trivial. Everything is of eternal consequence. Let us not deceive ourselves by thinking or saying that God will adopt our views of His justice. “Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet.”
J. W. Rich.
