The Everlasting Gospel and Human Greatness

The Everlasting Gospel of the living God places the glory of man in the dust and exalts Jehovah of Hosts and Jesus Christ as Lord.
The Everlasting Gospel does not exalt great men, but a great salvation. It deals with great truth which received makes, according to God’s standard, great men.
The apostle Paul tells us to be contented with such things as we have, but never in all the word do we find the injunction to be contented in ourselves with what we are. What we have is apart from ourselves; what we are is quite another thing. There is always room for advance.
