Kindness

THE KIND business man will make friends and hold them. It is not always easy to be kind. The hurry and bustle of this business age are against it. American nervousness is against it. Our national disease, dyspepsia, is against it. Yet after all—
“There is nothing so kingly as kindness.”
A recognition of God’s kindness and goodness will help mightily in passing His blessings on to others. To be kind, however, does not always mean granting requests or giving valuable time to those who ask it. Sometimes it is kindness to kindly refuse, and sometimes justice to others demands refusal.
