More Rice and Less Meat

Buttons bearing the inscription, “More Rice and Less Meat,” were given to the visitors at the State Land Congress held at Little Rock, Arkansas, March 23 to 25. Bread and cake made from 75 per cent cottonseed-meal refined, and 25 per cent wheat flour, were exhibited, and samples given to visitors. The bread is darker than graham bread, and as light as white bread, and contains about twice as much proteid as meat.
