We begin in this issue a series of articles on Japan by the superintendent of the Japanese mission, Brother F. W. Field. We hope they will be carefully read. With the article printed from Mr. F. E. Stafford in our last issue there came many excellent photographs for which we are very grateful. We could use but a few of them with his article, but we are glad to use two more in this issue with the article by Mr. Field. We will use others later on.
