Try the Inside.

Some time ago we read of a man who was washing a large plate glass show-window. There was one soiled spot which he rubbed and rubbed but could not remove. A bystander looking on suggested to him, “Try the inside.” There he found the trouble. The incident is suggestive. There are thousands of people who are trying to put away sin by rubbing off the outside. They find it, however, continually breaking out, and the spot will not wash away. We suggest to them, “Try the inside.” Change from the chamois skin of respectable morality to the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is able to cleanse from all sin.
